Mark DJing in London (UK)

The official mailing list reports that Mark will be DJing on 7th October in London - here are the details:

if you are in london next tuesday (07-10-003), the band have lent their support (and mixmaster morriss's dj skills!) to some very special gigs for new music taking place at pop of the tops club (pop idol quality rising stars, guest djs and affordability) every tuesday in october. the high caliber bill was put together without exchanging one penny, instead the penniless organisers shared and bartered their skills to produce four legendary nights out which will be filmed/photographed and best of all enjoyed. details at club page http://get-me.to/popofthetops and a big "we love you" to the bluetones from the music tourist board.

SQR

The re-vamped Superior Quality Recordings website is back up and running. It's got a more up to date tour listing than the official bluetones site now!

Gig (Toyko)

A date in Tokyo on 30th October has been added to the winter outside of UK tour dates.

Cancelled Dates (US)

Some people are reporting that the US dates in LA and San Francisco have been dropped (6th/7th November) - as the dates themselves were never officially announced it's hard to confirm this. However, one of the venues, Cafe Du Nord no longer lists the band on their calendar.

The gig in Maxwell's on 8th November doesn't appear to be happening as from the details on their website someone else is playing on that date. However, an additional date, in NYC, seems to have been added judging by this flyer mailed to me by Clay Russell.
