THE BLUETONES
Return To The Last Chance Saloon
(Superior Quality/All formats)
An album Kevin Keegan's Newcastle would have been proud of.
The Zep cats throw caution to the wind in a delicious opening flurry,
which sees Tone Blooze heading off to Arizona (sic) where Solomon Bites
The Worm in an unparalleled rhythm 'n' booze classic. They peak with the
organ-ic Sleazy Bed Track but there's a price to be paid for the cavalier
approach, and a dull second half sees the 'Tone army's dreams dashed.
Until next time.
