Keep The Home Fires Burning
(Superior Quality Recordings)

Traditionally a group that make pedestrian crosings look racy, The Bluetones are back to atone for the, ahem, disappointment of their last LP. Fans of homegrown indie will be delighted to learn 'Keep The Home Fires Burning' is lithe, competent and a bit like the Byrds. It also seesm to featue the music from the Hovis ad. So for the first time ever, The Bluetones really do sound brassed off about something. Boom, and indeed, boom.
